The Claimant was a dock worker who sustained a Lumbar, Thoracic, and Neck Sprain, as a result of an incident that occurred while pulling a pallet jack. Subsequently, he filed a motion to have this claim additionally allowed for a Disc Bulge at L5-S1. <\/p>\n
THOMAS & CO. RESULTS<\/strong><\/p>\n Thomas & Co. took the claim. We thoroughly reviewed the claim, obtained necessary medical documentation, and developed legal, medical, and factual arguments in support of the Employer\/Client\u2019s position. The Claimant\u2019s motion for the additional allowance was heard by a District Hearing Officer who found that the disc bulge at L5-S1 was caused by the industrial injury. <\/p>\n Thomas & Co. appealed this adverse decision to the Staff Hearing Officer administrative level. The Staff Hearing Officer reversed the previous lower order and disallowed the claim for a Disc Bulge at L5-S1.
